Two Weeks Behind?! Nope!

Today was day three shooting Episode 6... it doesn't seem possible that we've come so far since the start of the year, that we've met so many incredible people, that we're able to continue making this series -- day after day, week after week. We're half way through Season 1... and to think there were so many folks who thought we'd never do anything at all, who couldn't be bothered to answer our calls or emails. Hm. That makes me smile now.

After shooting a cool Skype scene between Maxo and Spark tonight (Maxwell and Kristie), Kristie reminded me that I'm two weeks behind on my daily blog LOL! Of course, she was half joking because she and her mom, Bridget, know that I'm two weeks behind on the blog because we're on track for the premiere at the end of this month :)

Some updates worth sharing though:

The premiere sold out almost immediately -- all ninety seats! -- and volunteers for the monster cafe scene swarmed my inbox almost as fast; it was a great feeling and the cafe scene went incredibly. Forever our thanks to all our monsters, of course, and to the angel-owners of Cosmo's who allowed us to use their beautiful restaurant for the entire shoot.

We're considering showing Episodes 1 through 6 on April 12 from 5 to 9 pm. Not a fancy event. Just a screening open to the public with tickets available from the website and at the door (if they don't sell out). What do you all think?

The bound scripts of Episodes 1 - 6 are almost ready as are the DVDs, posters (several styles), and auction baskets for the premiere lobby. Our hope is to fund Episode 7 with any proceeds because...

...we have a new matching backer! We have an investor who will donate $1500 for every $500 we raise for an episode. Err... I suppose that's better than matching, it's tripling! Some of the best news right there.

Well... I better sign off! Back to work prepping the script for tomorrow... our last day shooting Episode 6. Wow... just, wow!
